Background

Rachel Litterer is a proud DeSoto County native, raised in Olive Branch, Mississippi, where she still lives today. She graduated from Olive Branch High School with honors before earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with double minors in psychology and chemistry from the University of Mississippi in 2004.

She went on to complete Union University’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, graduating with honors. After nursing school, Rachel worked in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, caring for patients with complex medical needs, including those recovering from cardiac surgery, respiratory illnesses, and renal disease. In 2009, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing — Family Nurse Practitioner, graduating cum laude from Union University.

Rachel brings more than 15 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and over 18 years of total medical experience. She has worked in both primary care and urgent care settings and is passionate about providing meaningful, high-quality care. She values building trusting relationships with patients and supporting them as they work toward better health and wellness.

Rachel is married and has three children. She is an active member of First Baptist Church of Olive Branch, serving on mission teams locally and internationally. She and her husband enjoy traveling and look forward to sharing their love of different cultures with their children. In her spare time, she enjoys time with family and friends, listening to historical audiobooks, spending time at the beach or pool, and exploring challenging hiking trails while camping.
