Alexandra “Alix” Banker, FNP-C

Background

Alexandra (Alix) Banker is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than two decades of experience caring for patients across a variety of settings. Originally from Alabama, she has proudly called the Mid-South home for the past 16 years.

Alix began her career after graduating from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia, in 2000 as a Registered Nurse. She spent 19 years working in Women’s Health before completing her Nurse Practitioner training at South University in Savannah, Georgia, where she earned her advanced practice degree.

She brings a wealth of experience to Bagwell Medical Clinic and is highly skilled in both acute and chronic care. Alix is committed to staying current with the latest research and treatment options so she can provide the highest quality care to every patient she serves.

Alix lives in DeSoto County with her husband, Chris, of 30 years, and their children. Her family has been part of the DeSoto Central and Lewisburg school communities, and she is an active member of Desoto Hills Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and caring for her two Goldendoodles. And yes — she’s an avid Alabama fan… Roll Tide!
