Background

Mandy was born in Memphis, TN, and moved to DeSoto County at the start of high school, where she graduated from Olive Branch High School. She went on to pursue nursing and earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Northwest in 2003.

She began her career at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a pediatric nurse, caring for critically ill children in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. Mandy served faithfully in this specialized unit for 10 years. Driven to advance her career and deepen her expertise, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University in 2010, graduating summa cum laude, and continued on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner in 2011, graduating magna cum laude.

Mandy joins Bagwell Medical Clinic with 12 years of experience in primary care and 21 years of total nursing experience. She enjoys caring for patients across the lifespan, managing both chronic and acute conditions, and has a strong passion for preventive care and wellness. Mandy is a member of the Mississippi Association of Nurse Practitioners, where she connects with colleagues and remains up-to-date on the latest medical advancements.

Mandy lives in DeSoto County with her husband, Jeremy, and their two children, Avery and Myles. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends — and you can often find her cheering on Avery at golf tournaments and Myles at basketball games. She is also an active member of Compel Church in Olive Branch, MS, where she serves on the Emergency Response Team.
