Mandy was born in Memphis, TN, but moved to Desoto County at the start of high school. She graduated from Olive Branch High School and went on to pursue a career in nursing. In 2003, she graduated with her Associate's degree in nursing from Northwest. Following graduation, she started working as a pediatric nurse at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. While working at St. Jude, she was tasked with caring for complex pediatric patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and continued to work in that unit for 10 years. Mandy desired to move forward in her career and in 2010, she graduated Summa cum Laude from Union University with her Bachelor’s in Science and Nursing. She decided to continue her education at Union University and graduated Magna cum Laude in 2011 with a Master’s in Science and Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner.
Mandy comes to Bagwell Medical Clinic with 12 years of experience in Primary Care and 21 years of nursing experience in total. Mandy enjoys caring for patients across the lifespan with chronic and acute conditions. She also takes great pride in performing preventative care and wellness for her patients. Mandy is a member of the Mississippi Association of Nurse Practitioners where she can meet with other colleagues and stay current on the latest advancements in medicine.
Mandy resides in Desoto County with her husband Jeremy, and two children Avery and Myles. In her spare time, she loves watching her daughter play golf and her son play basketball. She enjoys traveling to new places, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is an active member of Compel Church in Olive Branch, MS where she also serves on their Emergency Response Team.
